Ken Tudhope
Ken has more than 25 years’ experience in finance and accounting working with companies of all sizes as both an accounting professional and as a executive recruiter. An actively licensed CPA and active CMA, Ken leverages his expansive network of contacts and his unique set of talents and industry experiences to deliver customized service and value to clients. Ken’s primary focus is on executive search and resource consulting at the professional, managerial and executive levels in finance, accounting and compliance.
Currently Ken is actively involved in executive search at Advantex Professional services and is the “People Leader” for Blythe Global Advisors which focuses on “Filling the GAAP” between CFO and their auditors in three areas: technical accounting & financial reporting; internal audit, risk & sox; and transactional support.
Prior to joining Advantex, Ken was the founder and CEO of Project Pro Search for many years. Before that, he began his search career at Robert Half Management Resources. In his CPA capacity, he served as senior director of finance at Fluor Corp. and as vice president of finance at SMC Networks.
Ken is the author of “The Key: A Networking Guide to Meeting, Connecting and Succeeding,” and “Tudhope’s Networking Notes,” a collection of short articles on the subject of networking that are published in the monthly newsletter of the Orange County chapter of Finance Executives International (FEI), and on his blog, NetworkingNote.com. Ken also developed “InContact,” a monthly networking publication serving the finance and accounting community in Southern California. He’s a past President of Financial Executives International, the Orange County CFO Network, the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), and is deeply involved with International Professionals in Finance and Accounting (IPFA), and the UCLA Anderson MBA Alumni Network. Ken was a co-founder of the LEADS program for undergraduate business students at UCI Merage.
